Avec les doctorats et les postdoctorats du CNES : inventons l’Espace du futur !
Chaque année, le CNES accorde une centaine d’allocations de recherche doctorale et postdoctorale à des étudiants français et étrangers, dans les domaines des :
- sciences pour l’ingénieur (systèmes orbitaux, systèmes de transport spatial),
- sciences utilisatrices des moyens spatiaux (sciences de l’Univers, sciences de la Terre, sciences en micropesanteur)
- sciences humaines et sociales (juridique, histoire, économie, sociologie, psychologie, etc.).
Le CNES contribue ainsi à l’effort de formation par la recherche de jeunes chercheurs et ingénieurs dans des domaines d’intérêt pour le secteur spatial.

3. Workshop 3dgasflows : Une vue compréhensive du CGM/IGM avec les Quasars d’arriere plan (15-16 May 2023, CRAL, Lyon)
The circum-galactic medium (CGM) and inter-galactic medium (IGM) are both difficult to observe directly owing to their low densities, but their presence can easily be detected with background quasars. In 2023, we are entering a new era with a large number of surveys with wide field IFUs (MUSE,KCWI) and numerous multi-object spectrographs (4MOST, WEAVE-QSO, DESI, etc.) and correspond also to the start of new ANR funded projects using targeting background quasars (Hz-3D-MAP; WEAVEQSO).
Specifically, a the moment when these new observational campaigns are starting, this workshop aims at bringing experts in observations and simulators in order to discuss the latest results and foster new synergies.

« Cosmic turbulence and magnetic fields: physics of baryonic matter across time and scales », to be held in Cargèse, Corsica (France) on 25 – 29 September 2023.

The pre-registration and abstract submission (deadline: April 15) are now open.
The attendance being limited to 100, participants will be selected on the basis of the acceptance of their abstract by the SOC, but a pre-registration is mandatory for the abstract submission.
There will be no registration fee.

5. Progress on Old and New Themes in cosmology PONT (2-5 May 2023, Avignon, France)
The conference addresses the cardinal issues of the dark universe today, gathering a selected number of scientists working in cosmology and particle physics in the inspiring and monumental setting of Avignon. There will be both review talks by leading experts in each field and selected contributions, all aimed at encouraging in-depth debates. A certain amount of time will be devoted to discussion sessions.
The 2023 edition, the sixth in the PONT series, will focus on the following research topics:
- Early universe
- Late universe
- Gravitational waves
- Astrophysical messengers of new physics
