1. Lauréats et lauréates INSU des médailles d’argent et de bronze du CNRS en 2021
La médaille d’argent distingue des chercheurs et des chercheuses pour l’originalité, la qualité et l’importance de leurs travaux, reconnus sur le plan national et international.
La médaille de bronze récompense les premiers travaux consacrant des chercheurs et des chercheuses spécialistes de leur domaine. Cette distinction représente un encouragement du CNRS à poursuivre des recherches bien engagées et déjà fécondes. Le CNRS-INSU adresse toutes ses félicitations aux lauréats et lauréates !

2. Astronet Science Vision & Infrastructure Roadmap Community Consultation
Astronet is working on the next Science Vision and Infrastructure Roadmap. The first drafts from the different working panels is now available on the website (except for one). Comments, feedback or questions from the community are valuable and helpful in finalising this report. Please use the feedback form to get in touch with us. We are also looking to hold a town hall type event in the early part of 2021 to update the community and address any issues which have been raised.
The Science Vision and Infrastructure Roadmap revolves around the research themes listed below:
- Origin and evolution of the Universe (*coming soon*)
- Formation and evolution of Galaxies
- Formation and evolution of Stars
- Formation and evolution of Planetary Systems
- Understanding the Solar System and conditions for Life
but will include cross-cutting aspects such as computing and training and sustainability.
After some delays due to the global pandemic, the first drafts of the chapters for the document are now available from the Panels asked to draft them, for you to view and comment on.
For the Science Vision & Roadmap to be truly representative it is essential we take account of the views of as much of the European astronomy and space science community as possible – so your input is really valued by the Panels and Astronet.

3. ESO User committee lance son sondage annuel
The Users Committee (UC) represents ESO’s astronomical community forming a direct link between the users and ESO. On an annual basis we ask users for feedback through our User Committee Poll :

This year there is a special focus on VLT-Interferometry. The poll is open until Friday March 19th 2021.

It is an anonymous survey, and the answers will be only seen by the UC members who will use them as input for discussions during the annual meeting of the UC and ESO scheduled in April.

Le/la candidat(e) sera intégré(e) à l’équipe pédagogique du service de physique de l’UFR SceM. Il/elle participera aux enseignements de physique de la licence de physique et physique-chimie d’une part, et en master MEEF (préparation aux métiers de l’enseignement) d’autre part. La majorité de ces enseignements ont lieu sur le site du Bourget-du-Lac. Il/elle sera impliqué(e) dans des initiatives de pédagogie innovantes, certaines déjà mises en place, d’autres restant à construire. Dans ce cadre, il/elle participera à l’intégration des pratiques pédagogiques du projet @SPIRE, dans le cadre du programme NCU2.

Le/la candidat(e) recruté(e) intégrera l’équipe d’astroparticules et cosmologie du Laboratoire d’Annecy-le-Vieux de Physique Théorique (LAPTh). Idéalement, il/elle serait un cosmologiste, si possible impliqué(e) dans une activité théorique et phénoménologique liée aux capacités des observatoires “cosmologiques” des prochaines générations, ou multimessager, en particulier les futures expériences d’ondes gravitationnelles. Enfin, un intérêt et une capacité d’interface avec des thématiques de physique des particules (telles que : inflation, neutrinos, baryogénèse, matière noire, etc.) seraient d’importants atouts supplémentaires pour une étroite collaboration avec l’équipe de physique des particules du LAPTh.
