2. Cosmology from Home 2020 (24 August 2020 – 04 September 2020, Virtual)

Deadline: abstract submission will close on 22 July 2020.

The first annual Cosmology from Home conference will be held from 24 August – 04 September 2020.

Cosmology from Home is an online cosmology conference with a novel format aimed at bringing the real-world workshop experience into the virtual domain. The format includes the use of pre-recorded talks, and a combination of asynchronous and scheduled live discussions. A freely-navigated virtual office space also facilitates ongoing, organic discussions. The conference will bring together cosmologists from around the world to discuss the current state of cosmology at the interface of theory and observations.

Registration is now open: https://www.cosmologyfromhome.com/registration
(Note: there will be a limited number of participants.)

She*He will also support the management (coordinator Prof. Dr. Dominik Schwarz) of the German D-MeerKAT consortium and contribute with her*his expertise to establishing a regional science data centre for radio astronomy. We also expect the candidate to contribute to the supervision of Bachelor- and Master-students and to co- supervise PhD-students.
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to obtain the venia legendi.
